Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are becoming increasingly important in today's world. E-learning systems have shown great impact on new learning methods of learner based systems and have been proved to be effective in spreading the knowledge. Also, limitations such as the location and the time of instruction have been removed in such systems.

In fact, ICT is presently considered as a determinate factor for the success of any nation. Like other nations, communities and groups in the world, Muslims are also using ICTs to spread God's message to non-Muslims and also reach to fellow Muslims to help them learn more about their own religion.

In Addition ICT is a dynamic field, which has great impact on the ethical, social and political dimension of the society. One of the major areas that are significantly affected by this silent revolution is promoting Islamic knowledge. Therefore great efforts have been carried by many Muslim scholars, scientists and intellectuals in evaluating the impacts of ICT towards Islam, and at the same time initiating ways to promote Islamic knowledge and information through the use of ICT. It has become a new engine for Muslims all over the world to collect, exchange, share and spread information about Islam and Quran through the Internet and other communication technologies.

It is responsibility of each Muslim to learn and use this technology and to equip themselves with the information and knowledge of this advance technology, which is the most powerful tool in today's world.

Services and applications offered by the ICT technology can be efficiently used in order to distribute and increase the level of understanding of Islam and its message among all the people of the world.

One of the greatest benefits to be gained from the use of ICT is the Internet. It can be the most cost effective & useful tool to disseminate Islamic knowledge & information and can be efficiently utilized in promoting teaching of Islam and Quran.
